  • Our space is all about pampering. Friendly greetings, your choice of beverage, and comfy robes await. Then, your stylist will work their magic!

  • We've got Brow Lamination and Waxing on our menu! But sorry, no manis, pedis, or massages here. However, you'll still get a taste of spa luxury at the shampoo bowl!

  • Teens (12 & up) are welcome, however, we do not have specialty pricing for kids. For the little ones, we recommend Cowlicks, a salon designed just for kids.

New clients

  • Consultations are the roadmaps to hair heaven! They help us plot the course to your dream hair. See below for what to expect during a consultation.

  • Your stylist will analyze your hair, chat about its history, and help craft a plan to make your hair goals come true. Don't worry; we'll go over pricing and set you up with a 50% deposit during this 15-minute pow-wow.

  • Busy schedule or too far away? No problem! Ask about our virtual consultations- we've got a plan for every situation.

  • Stuck on who to pick? We’ll play matchmaker! Our guest care extraordinaires will ask a few questions to understand your hair goals and match you with the perfect stylist(s). You can also stalk their Instagram accounts to view their work.

appointments

  • Need to switch things up? Easy-peasy! You can call us at (205) 506-0500, email us at shape@forecastsalon.com, or simply reply to your confirmation text message. We're here to make your life easier.

  • If you're running fashionably late, give us a ring. We'll see if your stylist can still work their magic, depending on your ETA.

  • Your stylist will estimate how long your appointment should take during the consultation. Color and cut transformations may take a bit longer.

  • Limited seating in our waiting area, so keep that in mind if you're bringing a friend. We love your company but discourage unattended children. If you have to bring them, keep them supervised.

  • Clean hair is cool – it helps us work our magic. But for color, day 2 hair is A-OK. For updos, come in clean, dry, and straight!

  • Always plan ahead! We recommend booking your next appointment before leaving to ensure your stylist's availability and secure your seat on the hair throne. If not, your stylist might be busy next time, and we wouldn't want that! Late nights and weekends fill up fast, so don't wait too long. Prebook now, change it later – no biggie! If you need to reschedule, just give us a shout!

payment

  • We're all about convenience! We accept all major credit cards, cash, and even Afterpay for your ease of payment.

  • Saving your card on file makes everything smoother than a perfect blowout. Plus, it helps us collect those 50% deposits, making the process as magical as it can be!

  • Worry not! Your card info is locked in a digital vault, encrypted for maximum security. We only see the card type and the last four digits. If you prefer not to save a card, we'll reach out for that 50% deposit separately.

policies + Fees

  • To secure your spot, we need a 50% deposit for newbies, and 24 hours ahead for returning champs. This deposit secures your appointment, unless you bail within 24 hours—then, we're heartbroken, but your deposit might bid adieu. We swipe your card on file or ping you if it's not saved.

  • We respect your time, and we hope you do too. Give us a 24-hour heads-up if you need to cancel or reschedule. If you no show or cancel within 24 hours, your deposit will be forfeited.

  • A house fee covers the cost of product and amenities. This includes shampoo, conditioner, color, etc. Most salons incorporate this price automatically into their services. For full transparency and accounting purposes, we charge them separately. We charge one $6 house fee per service, but no more than three house fees.

  • Did you know we recycle over 90% of our waste? Rest assured any excess hair color, hair trimmings, foils, gloves (basically all waste accumulated from your service!) will be shipped across the country to be recycled. The company we partner with for this is Green Circle Salons, and they will turn send the waste to their partner companies including recycling facilities, chemical waste facilities, clean energy producers, bio-composite plastic producers and more. We charge one $5 eco fee per appointment.
